my first gun

...as in glue gun!
♪ and it was yellow

yes, i've never had one before. i remember using a glue stick before by melting it with a candle--poor me.

anyway, so my glue gun is yellow and nice but a pink version could have made me even happier. but no matter, it still went straight to work the night after i bought it. excited much!

my latest creations :)

quiapo-divisoria adventure

yesterday, i tagged team with kim for a shopping adventure to quiapo and then divisoria.

and so, i came. i saw. i surrendered.  i was so overwhelmed by the numbers of both sellers and buyers. i just couldn't conquer them all. and my feet gave up on me too easily.

but still i was happy with what very little stuff i got.

cute earrings :)

i also bought dvds. my dad has been asking me to buy new korean tv series for him, hehe. so i ended getting still marry me, which stars kim bum of boys over flowers, and mischievous kiss (the korean version of it started with a kiss).

after that, we headed to sm mall of asia for dinner. as if the universe wanted to comfort me fo my not-so successful shopping adventure, we got at the mall in time for the regular pyromusical show.
yay! i got a nice shot! :)

to cheer me up, kim agreed to watch my amnesia girl before going home. super feel-good movie. if you are in need of a good laugh or you want to believe in love again or you want to show support to papa lloydie (we even had dinner at greenwich for more, haha) or to pinoy films in general, you should see this film.

a picker-upper c/o my gs gehls

amid bad days and an upset stomach, all it took was a last-minute confirmation text of an 8 p.m. dinner date at chili's, greenbelt 5 with these girls to lift my mood even just for a night.

we had tostada chips (while waiting to be seated), texas chili fries with chili, pasta (what it's called escapes me now) and big mouth bites--all in between chismisan, of course! >.<

and so the highlight of the night was when one of my girls confessed that she is dalaga na (a.k.a. finally dating! and exclusively dating at that!). i cannot express just how happy i am! ^-^

our friend ching here is getting married in less than a month (we've known since the engagement but i am announcing it here on my blog just now, hehe). read her bride-to-be stories and be inspired.

if you like it you should put a ring on it <3

i love these girls to bits. i'm already looking forward to our yuletide (gerlie tm) party!

hk-macau trip: day 4

we woke up early so we won't have to rush to the airport for our 11 a.m. flight to manila. we even had time to tour the hotel again while waiting for the shuttle bus to tsing yi mtr station.

the last breakfast
my farewell walk

at the airport, we walked around and checked out the stores in hope of any last-minute buys but we didn't find anything interesting for pasalubong. so i ended up buying chocolates--nothing chinese (boo!).
goodbye, hong kong!
hello, philippines!

hk-macau trip: day 3

we woke up early to catch a morning ferry to macau and then spent the whole day there. we went to the top three must-visit tourist spots i found online based on other people's macau experience. we also checked out the casinos in the venetian macao and grand lisboa but we did not play. before heading back to hong kong we took two bus rides for a round trip of the whole of macau (a.k.a we got lost, ha-ha-ha!).

1. the venetian macao we did not try the gondola ride because it costs around P600 per person. we're just saving the experience when we go to venice in the future *crosses fingers*.

2. ruins of st. paul cathedral.

3. senado square. we enjoyed free taste of pork jerky samples while walking from the ruins to senado square.

we were back in hong kong by dinnertime so after eating we went straight to the temple market.

i didn't find anything interesting and i was feeling tired from all the commute and walking in macau so by 10:30 p.m. we were already headed back to the hotel. to freshen up before sleeping, i forced kim to join me for a little kikay session, ha-ha-ha!

hk-macau trip: day 2

because we were too tired and our bed was very comfortable we woke up later than planned, but no matter. we still pushed through with our ngong ping 360 and disneyland adventure!

1. cable car to ngong ping village. we bought roundtrip tickets aboard their crystal cabin, which has a glass bottom for a more 360-degree feel.

4. disney train. it's like a mobile mini-museum with mickey windows and hangers. there are also miniatures of disney characters inside the train.

5. disneyland. my digicam ran out of battery and i didn't have a spare so we weren't able to take as much pictures as we like. but the child in us still had so much fun! i was in tears while watching the lion king show and the fireworks, ha-ha-ha!

the park closes at 7 p.m. on mondays so we still had time to go shopping around mongkok. i was able to buy a pair of boots, while kim got an i <3 hk shirt. we also ate at one of the local restaurants beside the ladies' market.
